Fish are an extremely popular decorating motif for several decorating stiles. Tropical, nautical, cabin and beach house decor all use fish as part of there decorating theme. Our handcrafted stoneware fish are a unique addition to any retail display and practically sell themselves.

Think in groups your customers are.
After many years in the craft retail industry we've noticed a few things about the way people use fish in there decorating projects. They like grouping fish together. Of course there are plenty of customers that purchase just one for that special spot in thear home. Many more however buy groups of fish. There seems to be two schools of thought on the subject, all one fish or mix and match. The buyers who purchase all one fish tend to pick medium size fish while the mix and match buyers tend toward a variety of sizes graduating up in size. What this means to you as a retailer is that displaying our fish in groups is a good way to encourage multiple purchases. Sometimes even the most savvy decorator cant see how to most effectively use a product, unless they see it for themselves. Using small groups of three to five fish together can make a big impact in your product display. We recommend setting up groups of both the all one fish type as well as the graduating in size version. Depending on your clientele both types can be made with smaller or larger fish. There is one group of fish we cannot recommend and that is kissing fish. Unless there is some overriding reason to do so fish decor such as ours doesn't look alive in this orientation. To be most effective your display must impersonate life because that, is what attracts customers and sells product.
